Richard Reaney, Climate scientist and researcher with over 40 years of experience, gave a brilliant presentation on Climate Change V Alarmism at a Taupo public meeting (18/6/24). I was lucky enough to attend.

Forces behind climate change
There are four main, sizable forces behind climate change: the Sun, the Solar System, the Earth, and Cosmic Energy. Mankind has no control over these forces. These dominating factors decide what our climate is going to be like. Therefore, as mankind cannot change these forces, we essentially have no control over climate change. But what we can do is learn to adapt to these changes.
Is there a climate emergency?
Richard:
Absolutely not. There is no emergency now. There never has been. And it's highly, highly unlikely that there will ever be one in the future.
Carbon Dioxide and Climate Change?
Climate alarmists tell us that the gas in our atmosphere, carbon dioxide (Co2), is heating the earth and we should all be very worried. They say this with certainty, claiming the science is settled. Science is never settled. Only the alarmists say it is.
There is less than 1% carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.
Mass Media Fraud!
If you look at the graph below, you might say, “Look at all that carbon dioxide!” However, the graph pushed by legacy media is an absolute fraud. Why? Because the biggest greenhouse gas has been left out.
A Fraudulent Graph:
Carbon dioxides does not make up 79% of atmospheric greenhouse gases. How can it, when water vapour makes up 98%? All the other greenhouse gases, which include carbon dioxide and methane, only make up 2%.

Human Carbon Dioxide Emissions
Of the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, how much is put up by us and how much by natural processes?
243 billion tons is put up by Nature. We put up a measly eight billion.
Are we really going to be altering the climate with that?
Carbon dioxide is carbon dioxide. It doesn't come in different forms.
Atmospheric Gases
Of all the gases, including the greenhouse gases, in the atmosphere, nitrogen dominates and oxygen is second. Water vapour makes up 21%; whereas, carbon dioxide makes up a mere 0.04%. And that's the total carbon dioxide put up by us and natural processes.

Methane
Methane makes up only 0.0166% of the gases in the atmosphere. That's the total methane, all of the methane coming out of the oceans, out of volcanoes, and so forth.
Methane in the atmosphere is so small, it is measured in parts per billion; whereas, carbon dioxide is measured in parts per million. But methane is not stable. It is destroyed before it reaches the upper atmosphere.
All the papers that have come out recently have just said the methane effect is totally irrelevant.
So, do you really think cow farts are going to make any difference to climate change?
Is Carbon Dioxide a Pollutant?
Our previous climate change minister claimed carbon dioxide was a pollutant and we are polluting the atmosphere. That is false.
Carbon dioxide is absolutely vital for life on this planet. Plants need carbon dioxide to grow and we need the oxygen they release. Carbon dioxide is a life-giving gas. It is NOT a pollutant. As an aside, we breath in air with 0.04% carbon dioxide and breathe out air with 4%, i.e. 100 times more.
Carbon Dioxide Plant Experiment
In this experiment, the pine trees that received the most carbon dioxide grew the best. The ambient air, with no additional carbon dioxide, had 385ppm of carbon dioxide. But the tree in an atmosphere of 835ppm of carbon dioxide grew significantly better. I'd say 100% better.
Further testing, that has been done since then, confirms maximum growth from good carbon dioxide levels is between 800 and 1,000 parts per million. Maybe that is why, greenhouse growers want to raise Co2 levels in their glasshouses.

I wonder, if globalists wanted to make us dependent on their fake foods so they can make zillions of dollars etc., what would they do? Would they use their power, influence and money to discredit the gas of life, the very substance needed for a natural, thriving food supply? Just a thought.
Where is the evidence that rising carbon dioxide levels raise temperature levels?
Richard Reaney has researched 6,000 papers to try and find a link between carbon dioxide and temperature. He wanted to find evidence that rising levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere caused the temperature to rise. In 6,000 papers, he did not find one.
Professor Plimer, an Australian scientist, had also tried to no avail. Nobody has been able to show it.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)

Hands-up. Who thinks greenhouse gases have no effect, therefore we all need new jobs? Anyone?
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is a United Nations body. What this body states is accepted by a lot of governments around the world and therefore, dictates their policy.
Well unfortunately, the IPCC is not a scientific body. What it does, it collects papers from various scientists. It rejects the papers it does not want. And lately, they have been held or found wanting with quite a number of figures. They have had to revise and revise and revise these temperature figures.
They initially claimed, by 2050, temperatures would increase by 8.5°celsius.
Revision 1: That figure was revised down to 2.5°c.
Revision 2: And then down to 2°c.
Revision 3: And then to 0.0084°C, which is below our ability to accurately measure.
So where is the climate emergency?

A Number of Countries Appear to Agree
They are building coal-fired power stations at an astronomical rate. For instance, China are building two a week. India plans to build 589 this year. Are they preparing for a colder climate, as predicted by scientists who study history and the sizable forces behind climate change: the Sun, the Solar System, the Earth, and Cosmic Energy?
